Connect Arc Research

Before connecting

Arc Research is invite-only. A directory listing or installed plugin does not grant access. You need an Arc account that is approved for research connections. To request access, use our access request page.

Set up your connection

Arc Research uses private custom connections. Your workspace owner may need to enable the connector first. Approved users can contact support for account-specific setup, including Codex.

In Claude, add a custom web connector and select automatic OAuth registration. In ChatGPT, use Plugins → Add custom MCP server and the OAuth client configuration supplied for your workspace. Use this server address:

1. Add Arc Research using the connection instructions supplied for your app.
2. Sign in on autonomousresearchcorp.com with your approved account email.
3. Review the requested research and watchlist permissions, then approve the connection.
4. Return to your assistant and start a new conversation using Arc Research.

Do not enter your Arc password or sign-in code into a conversation.

Available tools depend on your assistant's plan and workspace policy. Your assistant may ask for additional confirmation before changing a watchlist.

Try a research question

• Find Microsoft and summarize its latest financial results with sources.
• Compare Apple and Microsoft revenue growth over their last four fiscal quarters.
• Show my Arc watchlists and the companies in a list I select.

Arc Research retrieves company information, financial statements, filings, transcripts, news, and market data. Source availability and dates vary; verify material facts before acting.

Your watchlists and permissions

Watchlists belong to your Arc account. You can ask to create or rename a list, add or remove companies, or delete a list. Renaming lists, removing companies, and deleting lists require a separate explicit confirmation. The connection does not place trades or access brokerage accounts.

Disconnect Arc Research in your assistant to revoke that connection. Existing watchlists remain in Arc until you delete them or request account closure. See our privacy policy, terms, and support page for more information.
